Tiction v0.2

September 20th, 2008  |  Published in Software  |  1 Comment

I’ve updated Tiction to use the excellent RWMidi library. This fixes problems some people were having with Tiction not starting up correctly.

I also added the ability to copy a node’s MIDI channel to all other connected nodes.

Get it here!

Both I tried v1 and v2. I must say, the idea is very interesting! I actually enjoyed making something with Tiction. This is so funny and I think, if you implement the software, you certainly can do a lot of things with that as well as making money.
As with me, I’m studying sound engineering in Austria and as an user of this software I’d like to point some(probably) useful features that Tiction misses; ability to save the whole section. I almost have had problem with screen size, so ability to maximize to full screen. Also it would be useful for users to find a description regarding how the program works and how you can use it. Of course, this can be done in further versions. Add some samples. Ability to change the colors of nodes.
Anyway, I’m trying to find out more to report. I hope that I as a simple user can give you a little effect on implementing your great software.
By the way, could you tell me in which programming language you programmed this software?
    Thanks and all the best
